The photo has to be exact – white background, no smiling, head size right or it kicks you out. Do it on a laptop with good internet, save every page because it logs you out if you wait too long.
After form you pay US Visa Fee Pakistan.
B1 B2 visa, F1 student visa = $185 (around 52–55 thousand rupees these days)
H1B visa, L1A visa stuff = $205

Keep checking every morning and night – people cancel, slots open suddenly.
Interview day.
Take passport (must have 6+ months left), DS-160 confirmation print, fee receipt, appointment letter, extra photo just in case.
Also bring proof you’re coming back: job letter or NOC from boss, last 6 months bank statement, house papers if you own flat/plot, family photos showing parents/wife/kids here, maybe school leaving certificate if young.
Wear clean clothes – kurta pajama fine or shirt. Don’t go in a track suit.
They ask simple stuff: why US, what you do here, who pays, when coming back.
Just say the truth: “My job is in Lahore, my parents live here, I have a house, I’m only going to visit/study/work for a short time then back.”

Start super early – like 8–12 months before you wanna travel.
Don’t trust random agents in Anarkali or online who say “guaranteed visa”.
Practice answering questions in the mirror or with friends – sounds stupid but helps calm nerves.
If refused (happens a lot on B1 B2), see the reason on paper, fix the weak part (more ties proof), wait a few months, apply again.
